Otoplasty Procedures
For ears that protrude from the head, surgeons have developed a procedure known as otoplasty to realign the ears. Commonly referred to as ear surgery, otoplasty surgically sets the ears back against the sides of the head, so the protrusion is minimized and the ears are brought to a normative position. Usually, the procedure is performed on younger children ages 4 to 14. Fortunately, Dr. R.J Mirabile and his team are skilled in the realm of otoplasty and are able to answer your questions about the surgery and its various procedures.
